The perfect winter wishlist clean and crisp with a little pampering thrown in.

Upcoming Giveaway when Maddabling reaches 500 Likers on Facebook !

Hello lovely readers

I have set a personal goal. Once I reach 500 likers on Facebook there will be a giveaway ! I do love your loyalty and that you have an interest in what I do. I love that you take the time to "like" things or make comments on the things I post. And I especially admire your patience when I take up your feed with new listings and shoutouts.

There will of course be some conditions attached to get your hands on the giveaway goodies and I will publish pictures of the prize pack and these conditions once the milestone is reached.

This will be open to local and international fans !

To give you some idea of what I have planned, I am thinking of including a special Kilt Pin Brooch, some swarovski crystal & brass wine charms, some gift tags, a bookmark and a couple of greeting cards.

Below you will see some pictures of items I have made in the past, please note these are for illustration purposes only and may not be the exact items offered in the prize pack.

DUSTy Happenings & Craft Swaps

Well what a week it has been ! I was thrilled to meet the gorgeous Liz of Hundreds of Buttons when she passed through our town. Del (from DELiciousDesignz & getSPOONED)Liz and I met for lunch at one of my fave eateries The Venice and then I got to catch up with Liz that evening. What was going to be a quick half hour chat ended up being a 2 + hour natter and craft swap ! I felt very relaxed in the company of this lovely DUSTer ! I swapped a gorgeous Kilt Pin Brooch for some of Liz's button-y creations (Liz is far too generous btw xox)

I also got word that my craft swap partner Wilma of Empress Wu Designs had received my May/June 2010 DUST Team Craft Swap parcel ! So now I feel I can reveal what I sent to Wilma. Wilma mentioned that she was quite partial to the key & padlock kilt pin brooches that I create. I also read Wilma's bio on her blog to work out what I would create. Wilma was a highschool principal in a previous life so I thought that I would create a special bookmark with An Apple for the Teacher Theme. And to top off the package I always include a handmade thank you card and some little gift tags. So here's what I sent.

An Apple for the Teacher Bookmark and .....................

A special custom Kilt Pin Brooch and.......................

Gift Tags and a handmade card and ........................

then I wrapped it all up in this pretty paper and .......

packed it in this sweet little box to send away !

Friday Friends - Dusty Divas Part 5

It's Friday again and that means another opportunity to introduce a new Dusty Diva - this week it's the gorgeous Bri from Petaliferous !

I loved Bri's work so much that I asked her to make me a custom necklace
and I have decided that I really must have these earrings to match this great pair of shoes that I have and how stunning is this Bracelet ?

Thats probably enough about my wants - allow me to let Bri tell you all about her crafty goodness !

"Petaliferous" means to bear petals, and is a range of handmade jewellery I started in April 2009, after leaving a full time career in the environmental industry (as I wanted to do something more creative!).

Most of my jewellery is made from polymer clay, timber, resin and upcycled vintage components from my home in Melbourne, Australia. My style is a bit eclectic, I try to make fun, whimsical pieces with varying influences. Most of my ideas are based on what I’d like to wear myself!

Some items have retro influences (such as the resin bottle tops), some are more classic (rose cabochon range) and then there’s the more nature inspired (hand carved timber).
My style is also forever evolving and I’m always coming up with new designs and ideas to keep me excited about it all

Three and a half weeks ago I welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world, so I am looking forward to being able to continue and grow Petaliferous well into the future, whilst also being a full time mum!
